Cada persona es un mundo
Every one’s journey is unique. Things that work for me may not work for you. But I’ve compiled this list of things to reference when things get tough, organized by ‘time of month’, as a woman, our menstrual cycle. I’ve found organizing wellness this way to be the most helpful for me,
as I hope it can be for you.
Where are you?
-

Follicular (post-period)
Days 1-11 after your menstrual cycle. Higher energy. Glowy skin. Finally feeling “yourself” again. Rising estrogen levels.
-

Ovulation & Luteal (mid-cycle)
Days 12-24 coincide with mid cycle. With Ovulation (Day 12), many women experience higher sex drive. Luteal phase (especially approaching menstruation) tends to coincide with increased irrability and mood swings. Hormones (both estrogen & progesterone) rise to peak levels, but not at the same time.
-

Menstruation (period)
Days 25-30 or 31 are your menstrual cycle. (Cycle length varies depending on many factors). Cramping, breast tenderness, fatigue are common. Hormone leves decrease.
